The Ride Begins
The moment you kick less and glide more with a Diver Propulsion Vehicle, you feel the upgrade. The dive feels less tiring, but it demands more awareness. You’re covering more range, moving faster, and upskilling control. The SSI DPV Diving Specialty builds your foundations for that upgrade.
You’ll learn fine-tuning buoyancy while in motion, work on navigation skills that keep up with your pace, and develop strong buddy communication in an unpredictable environment. You’ll also learn to manage equipment failure – from runaway DPV or a flooded one, to deploying a SMB without losing control.
Over 2 days of training & guided dives, you’ll begin to realise that effortless diving isn’t simple; it’s thoroughly planned, fully controlled, and totally fun!

The Ride Begins
Prerequisites:
- Finishing reading your course material is mandatory BEFORE you arrive.
- You should also be a certified SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent from any recognized training agency.
Medical Form:
Before you dive, you’ll need to fill out a medical questionnaire. It is a self-check of your eligibility to dive.
If you do need a doctor’s clearance, we will guide you through it! Download the form now.
Age Limitations:
- The minimum age to propel into the blues effortlessly is 12 years.
Price:
- ₹20,000 per person, all inclusive

- We’ve got the essentials covered – study material, instructor charges, gear, training dives, certification, snacks & beverages on all dive days, and taxes.
- Travel, meals, & stay are additional expenses.

What if I need more than 2 days to get used to the DPV?
- That’s alright! One additional day of training or practice dives can be scheduled, at no extra cost.
- However, like all diving skills, the more you dive with the DPV, the more comfortable you will get with it.
- You can always do a few days of fun dives with the DPV – at an additional cost.
Where do I access my course material?
- On the SSI App – your forever dive buddy. Available on Android & iOS. Phones & tablets. Or even a good ol’ browser.
- Theory, logs, certifications cards…this is your diver flex app, essentially!
What if I have to cancel my trip? Do I get any refund?
- Here are the not-so-fun details:
- Cancel one month prior, and you get a full refund.
- Two weeks prior? 50% refund.
- Less than a week? No refund, unfortunately.
- That said, life loves plot twists and we get it! Talk to us and we’ll figure the best possible solution.
